Senior Equipment Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities: 

Participate in the factory automation requirement, design, development, testing, implementation and support activities with both external & internal parties including IT department, users and equipment vendor.
Troubleshoot and fix automation software and interface problems.

Job Requirement

Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent discipline.
Min. 5 years of related working experience in semiconductor or solar industry.
Understand factory automation technology and familiar with various semiconductor equipment types.
Proven experience in working with cleanroom automated equipment, knowledgeable cleanroom work environment and requirements.
Proven experience in VTAP development and enhancement.
Proven experience in equipment integration and automation, equipment interface development, PLC communications, and Semi Comm standards such as SECS GEM communications.
Knowledgeable of C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, CORBA, Windows MFC Application development.
Knowledgeable of relational database especially Oracle and DB2.
Good knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IOT.
Good communication and documentation skills in English.
Fluency in Mandarin essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Willingness to travel as needed.
